- Story
- Szmul escaped from the train in a group of nine Jews. They were helped by the Gondorowicz family, who placed them in the nearby village of Drochlin and paid a farmer to organize a hiding place for them in a pigsty. They visited them often and brought them food. However, due to their inattention, the Germans found the hiding place. Dawid Braun, Szmuel and Alek Rubinek were murdered. The rest escaped to another hideout in the village of Olszówka, where they survived until liberation.
