The Memory of Treblinka Foundation

Treblinka is the largest cemetery of Polish Jews. It is one of the largest cemeteries of Polish citizens. Around 900 000 people are estimated to have died here. Today the area is silent. This place demands not only prayer and contemplation, but also a caring remembrance and knowledge.




Audio guide “Extermination Camp Treblinka II” in Hebrew

The Foundation “Memory of Treblinka” and “Museum Treblinka-The Nazi German Extermination and Forced Labour Camp 1941-1944)” have prepared a Hebrew version of the audio guide.
Audio guide educational path Extermination Camp Treblinka II can be used on smartphones (systems iOS or Android). It can be downloaded for free from GooglePlay or AppStore. History of the camp and stories of selected people is shown in 15 points. These points are visible on the paper map and on the google map avalaible in phone.



Alon Goldman, member of Foundation Council, Awarded Poland’s Gold Cross of Merit

On May 3, 2021, Alon Goldman, a member of the Council of the “Memory of Treblinka” Foundation, was decorated by the Polish ambassador to Israel, Marek Magierowski, with the Gold Cross of Merit on behalf of the RP President Andrzej Duda, in recognition of building bridges between Poland and Israel.
