Notes
In 1922 with his cousin Jerzy Petersburski he created jazz band, which was very popular in the short time. Together they ran orchestras, which performed in the little theatre "Qui Pro Quo" (1922) and in café "Adria" (1931–1939). In thirties he cooperated with phonographic firm "Odeon" for which he made some recordings. In Treblinka he played in the camp orchestra. "Gold and the orchestra lived until the last minute. I think they died in the Uprising. Nothing was heard about them." "Artur Gold was present the whole time [in the camp]. They killed him during the uprising while he was trying to escape."
