- During the Holocaust he was deported to Treblinka where he remained for approximately two days. He was then able to escape with two of his friends. He was the only one who survived and he joined the partisans. In the last year of the war he hid in an attic above the Gestapo headquarters in Miedzyrzec together with five women and six men. After the war Feivel returned to his home town to check if anyone from his family had returned. There he met Frymet Fusman. They were married, in March 1947 they went to Uruguay.
